BIL can supply standard workshop cranes, folding cranes for ease of storage and Counterbalance versions which are ever popular throughout the industry due to their durability and ease of use.

As well as a range of lifting cranes BIL Material Handling are now supplying a host of drum and cylinder handling equipment including fork lift drum attachments and drum movers. These products have been carefully designed and chosen as additions to our expanding range of standard products due to their robust design.

We are also able to provide solutions to lifting lower weighted items with our range of stacker trollies. The stacker trollies provide the ultimate material handling solution, are lightweight and highly maneuverable capable of carrying loads up to 300kg

Here at BIL Material Handling our ethos is to always look at the marketplace and provide the best possible solution to your Material Handling requirements whether this be over the phone or through an onsite consultation.

This year we will be exhibiting at the IMHX show at the NEC Birmingham. The largest intralogistics show of its kind. Our team will be on hand to discuss any issues you face with lifting and transporting product to see if we can find the solution to make day to day working life more efficient.

A new toy for the team at Salvage Hunters!

Being a fan of the show BIL Products Director Tim Walker noticed that Drew Pritchard from Salvage Hunters could do with an upgrade on his sack truck!

Our Business Development Manager Nathan Jones got in touch with the Salvage Hunters team and arranged for a brand new AluTruk to be delivered to their warehouse.

It looks like they are making good use of it already!

The John Bentley School Expedition to Norway

The BIL Group were recently approached by Simon Parry from our local school The John Bentley School in Calne; seeking support for students at the school to take part in a once in a lift time trek through one of the remote areas of Norway.

The students will be departing on the expedition in August 2018 and at the moment are trying to fundraise the money themselves so they do not need to rely on their parents. On top of this they will have to raise additional money for getting to the airport by coach and buying their own expedition equipment.

While on expedition the students will be carrying all of their own equipment and food. They will be wild camping next to remote lakes on the top of some of the highest peaks in the area and running the expedition themselves. The students will be leading the expedition themselves with the support of the staff attending. They are responsible for completing all elements of the expedition from sorting out where to catch the boats, planes and ferries from to navigating through the wilderness. This expedition offer an incredible opportunity for the students as it allows them to develop so many skills and gives many the confidence boost that they really need. BIL are glad to support them with this adventure and have donated £500 towards the expedition.
They are still looking for further funding! If you are able to help please contact Simon Parry mailto:sjp@johnbentley.wilts.sch.uk

Wendy Faces the Challenge of her Life!

Wendy

BIL are always keen to lend a hand to people who are mad or brave enough to carry out feats the rest of us might like to do but don’t!

One such person stepping up to the challenge is Wendy Kane Cotterill, who is Sister-in-Law to our Managing Director here at BIL, Mark Farrell.

Mark has been generous enough to donate a substantial sum to help Wendy with her charity fundraising cycle ride. The team at BIL think we can also raise a greater awareness of Wendy’s effort and raise a few extra pounds for her cause – so read on and find out more!
